Bring your 3DF Zephyr projects into Twinsity

Why this one

A lot of the inspection teams we work with had already chosen 3DF Zephyr, the photogrammetry software from 3Dflow, and they had good reasons. It takes whatever they capture with, photogrammetry and laser scans in the same project. It gives them control over the reconstruction rather than handing back a black box. And it produces a model they trust enough to put in front of a client.

When a team is that settled on a tool, nobody should be asking them to change it. So they asked us instead. Whether Twinsity could take a 3DF Zephyr project came up often enough that not yet stopped being an acceptable answer, and it was 3Dflow’s own users asking as much as ours.

What opens up

The model comes in with its cameras and its original images. Twinsity matches the images to the model, so clicking a point on a structure brings up what was actually photographed there rather than a description of it.

From there the AI goes over the project and surfaces what it finds, with an inspector confirming each one. Your team works the same model together in a browser, so the colleague who was not on site sees exactly what you saw. Observations are recorded against the form your team already uses. The report comes out of the same place.

And it stays together afterwards. That matters more than it sounds, because an asset outlives the people who inspected it, and the next survey needs something to be set against.
